RAPID DIFFUSION
A recent example of rapid diffusion of technology is how
quickly people began using the iPad.
Interestingly, marketeers who conducted focus groups during
the iPad development phase found that most consumers could
not see any use for such a device; as such, the marketers did
not predict this rapid public adoption.
