He had done that before. I saw him at the party yesterday. Behalve bijwoorden van onbepaalde tijd, zoals usually, often, completely, quite, etc. □ Eén werkwoord in de zin = voor het werkwoord - I always work hard □ behalve bij vorm van ‘be’ = achter het werkwoord – I am never late □ Meer dan 1 werkwoord: na eerste werkwoord – I would never have done that ‘ Oefening 1: Zet de woorden in de juiste volgorde 1. The cows are fed (by the farmer). 1 With courtesy to www.midwestdairy.com for allowing use of the pictures. (a) Ceasar was killed by Brutus. (p) _________________________________________________________________________ Oefening 1: Welke zin is lijdend/passive? A. The letter was posted yesterday. B. He posted the letter yesterday. C. Did he post the letter yesterday? Hoe weet je dat? _________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ 35 Oefening 2: ACTIVE OR PASSIVE? Welke zinnen zijn actief en welke passief? 1. They are listening to Amy Winehouse. 2. Jessie teaches biology. 3. German is spoken in Austria. 4. The bus driver was tired. 5. The assembly line was invented by Henry Ford. 6. Houses have been built. 7. Erik bought new shoes yesterday. 8. These cars are produced in Japan. 9. You should open your books. 10. Sarah is writing the letter. 11. The house is cleaned by Tom. 12. The castle was visited. 13. Geoffrey repaired my car. 14. Alice was taken out on a date. 15. Peter fell in love with Jane. 16. Geraldine was brought to the hospital by my father. 17. Jordi took Jane to the hospital. 18. Marlin’s furniture was moved into her new house. 19. This room has been painted blue. 20. Cricket is played in Australia. A house is built by Peter. Present continuous Peter is building a house A house is being built by Peter Simple Past Peter built a house. A house was built by Peter. Past continuous Peter was building a house A house was being built by Peter Present Perfect Peter has built a house. A house has been built by Peter. Past Perfect Peter had built a house. A house had been built by Peter. Future Perfect Peter will build a house. A house will be built by Peter. Future: going to Peter is going to build a house. A house is going to be built by Peter. 1. Je haalt het lijdend voorwerp naar voren. Wat wordt er geschreven? An article….. 2. Wat zijn de werkwoorden in de zin? >>>>‘Writes’. In welke tijd staat dit werkwoord? Present Simple. (Stam werkwoord +s) Deze tijd toepassen op ‘be’! Dus: present simple van ‘be’ = ‘is’. Het hoodwerkwoord wordt altijd voltooid deelwoord = written An article is written…… 3. Voeg eventueel ‘by’ toe (= onderwerp uit de actieve zin) An article is written by Stephanie. Voorbeeld: Peter writes a letter.
