Enkele nadelen:
 beperkt aantal indexen & zoekfilters
 schijn van volledigheid:
 een aantal databanken kan enkel in de native interface bevraagd
worden en is bijgevolg niet ‘metasearchable’ in LS+;
 maximaal 10 databanken kunnen simultaan doorzocht worden.

 wordt aangeboden door de Universiteitsbibliotheek en LIBIS, en maakt
gebruik van de link server software SFX (gebaseerd op OpenURL);
 biedt je bij gevonden referenties in een bibliografische databank een link
naar de volledige tekst van het gevonden artikel, tijdschrift of boek indien
mogelijk;
 helpt je minstens om na te gaan waar je de papieren versie kan vinden,
indien er geen elektronische is;
 biedt je voorts een aantal opties om gerelateerde informatie te vinden en
om de citatiegegevens te bewaren.

 browser moet JavaScript en cookies ondersteunen.
 soms pas LibriLinks-link in uitgebreide presentatie, afhankelijk van
databank.
 LibriLinks brengt je zo dicht mogelijk bij full text. Afhankelijk van
(volledigheid) referentie of uitgeverssite nog verder navigeren op
website uitgever/leverancier.
