BAM wins major marine infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi
Bunnik, the Netherlands, 19 November 2014 – BAM International, the operating company of Royal BAM
Group active outside of Europe, has been awarded the contract to construct the marine infrastructure
works for phase 3 of the Al-Dabbiya oil field development by client Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil
Operations (ADCO). BAM expects to complete this €70 million project in September 2015.
The scope of work for five offshore clusters comprises channel dredging, reclamation works, construction
of a cause way, shore protection, heliport, pontoons and fences. The construction also involves an
additional offshore cluster including boat quay, pontoon and heliport.
This project is to be executed by BAM International with support from BAM Contractors of Ireland.

BAM verwerft grote opdracht voor waterbouwproject in Abu Dhabi
Bunnik, 19 november 2014 - BAM International – de werkmaatschappij van Koninklijke BAM Groep, die
actief is buiten Europa – heeft opdracht verworven voor de bouw van de waterbouwkundige werken voor
de derde fase van de ontwikkeling van het Al-Dabbiya-olieveld door opdrachtgever Abu Dhabi Company
for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO). BAM zal dit project met een contractsom van € 70 miljoen naar
verwachting in september 2015 voltooien.
De werkzaamheden omvatten onder meer het baggeren van een toegangskanaal, landaanwinning,
aanleg van een toegangsweg, kustbescherming, helikopterlandingsplaatsen, bouw van pontons en
terreinafbakening.
BAM International voert dit project uit met ondersteuning van de Ierse zusteronderneming BAM
Contractors.
