Bedrijven kunnen pas over de zending beschikken, wanneer de uitslag van de monstername negatief is (dus niet quarantainewaardig).
Een uitzondering geldt voor stekmateriaal van Brugmansia spp., Datura, Solanum jasminoides en Solanum lycopersicum. Deze worden vrijgegeven voor
import in de EU, en worden vervolgens direct schriftelijk vastgelegd op basis van art. 2 van het BBSO door de keuringsdienst, die toestemming geeft
om, in afwachting van de uitslag, de planten naar de kweker te vervoeren en daar te laten planten.
De keuringsdienst heeft een procedure die regelt en registreert dat een bedrijf in aanmerking komt voor 1 op 10 bemonstering van Radopholus sp.
waardplanten indien:

Het bedrijf minimaal 10 keer per jaar Radopholus sp. waardplanten van hetzelfde geslacht van dezelfde exporteur en hetzelfde herkomstland
importeert;

Er in 20 van bovenbedoelde zendingen geen Radopholus sp. is aangetroffen.

Zogenaamde pseudo-bonsais (van bijvoorbeeld Ligustrum, Sageretia, Serissa, Zelkova en Carmona) uit China, geteeld in een potgrondmengsel
waarin een klein deel zand en/of klei is verwerkt, worden niet beschouwd als planten met grond en hoeven dus niet worden bemonsterd.
Indien de potkluit voor een deel bestaat uit zand en/of klei dat in de kern van de wortels aanwezig is, moet dit deel van de potkluit wel bemonsterd
worden. Dit deel is nl. geen deel van het potgrondmengsel, maar een deel van de oorspronkelijke volle grond waarin de pseudo-bonsais zijn

*** Samenvoegen van monsters
Indien er een aantal ‘kleinere’ partijen bemonsterd moet worden, kan er besloten worden om een aantal monsters samen te voegen om zodoende
de kosten van monstername te beperken. Hierbij gelden de volgende regels:
1. Er worden alleen monsters samengevoegd indien de belanghebbende (betaler) dit wenst en akkoord gaat met punt 2.
2. Indien de uitslag positief (besmet) is dan worden alle partijen die zijn samengevoegd in het betreffende monster, besmet verklaard, tenzij:
a. Het Pinus, Juniperus en Chamaecyparis (derogatie) betreft, in dat geval worden alle onderliggende partijen nogmaals, maar nu afzonderlijk
bemonsterd (voor kosten van belanghebbende).
b. Indien het ander materiaal betreft, dan kan de belanghebbende verzoeken tot opnieuw bemonsteren van alle onderliggende partijen
afzonderlijk (voor kosten van belanghebbende).
Indien bij dit nieuwe onderzoek één of meerdere besmettingen worden aangetoond, dan wordt aangenomen dat deze besmette partij(en) ook
de bron is/zijn van de oorspronkelijke vondst; de uitslag van deze bemonstering vormt dan de basis voor de maatregelen.
Echter, indien er bij deze tweede bemonstering geen besmetting wordt aangetoond, dan blijft het resultaat van de eerste bemonstering staan.
Alle partijen die zijn samengevoegd in het eerste monster, worden dan als besmet beschouwd en vallen dus onder de maatregelen.
3. Eén monster is afkomstig van maximaal 50 (delen van) planten. Indien er van meer dan 50 (delen van) planten een monster genomen moet
worden, dan moet er een extra monster worden genomen. Het is van groot belang dat goed wordt genoteerd van welke partijen er planten in
welk monster zitten. Voorbeeld: zending bestaat uit 4 variëteiten (partijen) van 60 stuks en 3 variëteiten van 240 stuks (niet destructief
onderzoek). Het monster wordt dan genomen van 4 x 8 en 3 x 12 planten. In totaal dus van 68 planten, het worden dus minimaal 2 monsters
(immers van meer dan 50 planten).
**** Monstername/inspectie tarwe:

Per zending tarwe uit VS en Mexico 5 monsters van elk 2 kg nemen; verspreid over de zending. De 5 monsters tot één monster samenvoegen.

Neem uit het mengmonster een monster van 1 kg en let daarbij op de volgende symptomen:
 Langwerpige vruchtlichamen in plaats van korrels
 Vislucht
 Zie ook datasheet Fytobewaking Tilletia indica

Inspecteur neemt zelf de monsters. Waar dit fysiek niet mogelijk is (bijv. overslag van zeeschip naar binnenvaartschip vindt op het water plaats)
kan gebruik worden gemaakt van verzegelde SGS monsters.

Geef de zending wel/niet vrij op basis van de resultaten van de visuele inspectie.

Het monster van 1 kg voor toetsing zenden naar het NRC, team Ziekten van de NVWA.
***** Monstername i.v.m. Xylella fastidiosa
Monstername heeft slechts betrekking op voor opplant bestemde planten, m.u.v. zaden.
Te bemonsteren deel:
Bladeren, inclusief volledige bladsteel of stengelstukjes / dunne twijgjes. Indien er geen bladsteeltjes aanwezig zijn, zoals bijv. bij Lavandula, neem dan
stengelstukjes / dunne twijgjes.
Bemonster bij plantjes met een bladsteel(diameter) dunner dan 1,5 mm geen bladeren maar stengeltjes/twijgjes. Bij monstername van
stengelstukjes/twijgstukjes moeten de blaadjes van het stengeltje/twijgje afgestript worden (dus bladloze stengelstukjes/ twijgstukjes insturen).
Voor planten in rust (zonder blad): stengelstukjes / dunne twijgjes met knop.
Neem per stengel/twijg een stukje van ca. 1,5 cm. Neem niet de top van de stengel/twijg, maar een tussenstukje onder de top.
Neem van weefselkweek-materiaal stukjes stengel van 1,5 cm. Neem, indien mogelijk, niet de top van de plant, maar een tussenstukje onder de top.

Herkomst “Pest free production sites”, m.u.v. planten die gedurende het gehele productie cyclus in vitro zijn gegroeid en die zijn getransporteerd in
transparante containers onder steriele omstandigheden en die voldoen aan de eisen zoals gesteld in 2015/789 artikel 17, paragraaf 3a (dit moet blijken
uit de bijschrijving).
De “Pest free production site” moet staan vermeld in “Bijschrijvingen bij import (incl. EU list registered countries)” (intranet) of "EU lijst van landen vrij

Handelingen om kwaliteit van de zending te garanderen zijn toegestaan. Tracering moet gewaarborgd zijn, zending mag niet buiten geplaatst worden.
Indien cicaden worden aangetroffen (= vector) deze ook inzenden.
