Tijdschrift voor Gerontologie en Geriatrie

Notification of the abstract will be mailed by December 24th 2014
Topic of the abstract:
1. The abstract must be submitted per topic
2. Only 1 topic can be chosen per abstract
3. The topics are:
1. Medical
2. Nursing
3. Psychosocial
4. Functional – locomotor
5. Varia
6. Innovative care(models)
4. The first author of an abstract selected for oral presentation of topic 1 to 5 will present
his/her work in the Friday morning session of the Wintermeeting. Oral presentations of
selected abstracts of topic 6 will be presented in a separate session in the friday
morning program of the Wintermeeting (program J).
5. Authors of abstracts accepted for poster presentation present their work during the
poster session of the Wintermeeting.
Content of the Abstract
1. Title followed by authors and institution
a. Title max of 150 characters including spaces
b. Authors should not include degree acronyms; mention the first name
c. All in proper cases (not all caps or all lower cases)
2. Junior/Senior authors
a. Only junior first authors are considered for the BVGG price for best oral
presentation and poster of the Wintermeeting.
b. Juniors are:
i. First author of the submitted abstract
ii. Present for presentation of their work at the Wintermeeting
iii. Not having a PhD degree
iv. Have never received a price/award of the BVGG-SBGG
3. Body of abstract
a. Abstracts are limited to 250 words; font should be set at 9pt Arial
b. Contains: purpose of the study, methods, results and conclusion
c. No table or graphs are presented in the abstract

Alle abstracts die aan de gestelde voorwaarden voldoen, door de leescommissie
aanvaard zijn, zullen gepubliceerd worden in het Nederlands tijdschrift voor
Gerontologie en Geriatrie
Geef aan hoe u uw gegevens wil presenteren: oraal of via poster
Geef aan of U postuleert voor de Junior prijs van de BVGG
Geef aan of U postuleert voor de Prijs van het College i.v.m. een qualiteitsproject
Aanvaarding van uw abstract wordt bekend gemaakt tegen 24 december 2014
Onderwerp van het abstract:
1.Het abstract moet per onderwerp ingediend worden
2. Er kan slechts 1 onderwerp gekozen worden per abstract.
3.De onderwerpen zijn:
1.Medisch
2.Verpleegkundig
3.Psychosociaal
4.Functioneel – locomotorisch
5.Varia
6. Innovatieve zorg(modelen)
4. De eerste auteur van een abstract van topic 1-5 weerhouden voor een mondelinge
presentatie stelt zijn werk voor tijdens de vrijdagvoormiddagsessie van de
Wintermeeting. De eerste auteur van een abstract van topic 6 weerhouden voor een
mondelinge presentatie stelt zijn werk voor tijdens een apart programma op vrijdag
voormiddag (programma J).
5. De auteurs van abstracts weerhouden voor een poster presentatie stellen hun werk
voor tijdens de postersessie van de Wintermeeting.
Inhoud van het abstract
1. Titel wordt gevolgd door de auteurs en de plaats van tewerkstelling
a. Titel bedraagt max 150 karakters, spaties inbegrepen
b. Van de auteurs worden geen titels vermeld, de voornaam wordt voluit
weergegeven
c. Dit gebeurt voor alles in hoofd- en kleine letters
2. Junior/Senior auteurschap
a. Enkel junior eerste auteurs komen in aanmerking voor de prijs van de beste
mondelinge en poster presentatie van de Wintermeeting
b. Juniors zijn:
i. Eerste auteur van het ingezonden abstract
ii. Aanwezig op de Wintermeeting om hun werk voor te stellen.
iii. Niet in het bezit van een doctoraat (PhD)
iv. Geen titularis van een vroegere prijs van de BVGG-SBGG
3. Abstract zelf
a. Tekst is beperkt tot 250 woorden in Arial 9pt
b. Bevat de volgende topics: Doel, Methodologie, Resultaten en Conclusie
c. Bevat GEEN tabel of grafiek
