The address Stadsplein 6 is brand new and is by navigation systems (and Google Maps) often not
recognized. Alternatively you can enter the address of the police station Schakelstede 75.
Car:
By car you can reach DE KOM via highway A2, A12 of A27 towards Nieuwegein. Follow the signs
'Centrum', 'Theater' and the P-signs. You can park in the garage next to DE KOM (Parkeren Theater)
or under DE KOM (Parkeren Stadshuis). At Parking garage Theater there are additional affordable
parking rate. The first two hours, you pay € 1.00 per hour and then € 2.00 per hour. Parking at
Stadhuis you always pay € 2.00 per hour. In The catering points at DE KOM for both parking garages
exit tickets on sale for € 4.50. An exit card is beneficial if you stay longer than 3.5 hours parked in
parking garage Theater of 2.5 hours in parking garage Stadhuis.
Public transport
Tram:
DE KOM is accessible by sneltram from Utrecht, IJsselstein and Nieuwegein-Zuid. All trams stop at
the stop Stadscentrum Nieuwegein, just a few minutes’ walk to DE KOM. If you travel with the tram
between Nieuwegein-Zuid and Utrecht, you can also get off at the stop Merwestein.
Bus:
Bus 74 (Utrecht-Vianen) and bus 77 (Utrecht- Nieuwegein Zuid) both stop at the stop Stadscentrum
Nieuwegein and stop Stadshuis.
From the stop Stadscentrum Nieuwegein you take a five minutes’ walk through Cityplaza Shopping
Centre to DE KOM at Stadsplein.
